FOVEA

top 50 movies of the decade

I was happy to see many of my favorite films of the decade on the list: Donnie Darko, Dancer in the Dark, Children of Men, AI, The Royal Tenenbaums, I Heart Huckabees, Mulholland Drive, Pan’s Labyrinth, 25th Hour and Eternal Sunshine.

However, I was surprised by the inclusion of 40 Year Old Virgin and Miami Vice (maybe I should give the universally panned film a chance after all) and the exclusion of great films such as Amelie, Amores Perros, Bad Education, Irreversible, Little Children, Memento, Requiem for a Dream, The Constant Gardener, The Fountain, Waking Life and Y Tu Mama Tambien.

Check the entire list here.
